We were delighted to have been eligible for this development scheme with BIM.
The purchases of a new forklift, loading ramp and insulated fish bins have allowed our company to make some vital changes that benefit our catch and supply chain process whilst also almost eliminating any manual handling making it more worker friendly for our staff.
The addition of the new diesel forklift is more fuel efficient and cheap to run which in turn helps reduce our carbon footprint.
The loading ramp has been a huge success as there is very little manual handling been carried out when loading our products into transport.
The insulated fish bins keep the catch in a more natural environment/temperature keeping them in better condition for longer, increasing quality.
